Click on the "File" menu and then click "Open." Browse to the text document that you want to convert to UTF-8 encoding and open it. Edit the file if you want to make changes, then open the "File" menu again and click "
Save As." Choose "UTF-8" from the drop-down box next to "Encoding" and click "Save."
