Are vermicelli and thin spaghetti the same thing?

Spaghetti is long, thin, solid, cylindrical pasta.Like other pastas, spaghetti is made of milled wheat and water. Vermicelli is long and similar to spaghetti but also thinner. Both vermicelli and spaghetti are cooked faster than others.
