He carries a USMC KA-BAR fighting knife although his dad served in the
United States Army (25th infantry division). At the beginning of the series, Jax serves as the club's Vice President, and works as a mechanic at Teller-Morrow Automotive Repair. He has served time in prison for smuggling and gun-running.
